Recently, I've been listening to the audiobook of Napoleon Hill's famous book Think And Grow Rich. It's provided some interesting insights, as well as some very fascinating stories. But yet, some of the points they make I notice I lack.
Chief amongst these are to identify what your passions are, what it is you feel like your purpose here is. I've been doing some thinking on that for some time - what are my true passions, what is my direction in life?
My first thought is that my passion is to write, to create worlds of fantasy where people can escape, but then I think back to why I continue to work where I do, despite some problems with other staff - it's because I like the interaction with customers, I like to help people.
